A Medieval pentagonal strap slide with separate copper alloy rivet. The front and side bars have a D shaped cross section; the rear bar has a rectangular cross section. Late 14th century. As Read (2016) p36 number 222.

Copper alloy rectangular plate or escutcheon, 37.0mm by 27.8mm, with two square holes set within terminal pelta-shaped loops. The front is decorated with incised crescents and dots and shows traces of a white metal coating. the reverse is flat and undecorated. Possible a Post Medieval belt, box or furniture fitting.

An early post-medieval copper-alloy strap fitting from a sword belt hanger, dating to the period 1500 to 1700.The plate is sub triangular in shape with a trifoliate terminal and decorated with foliate decoration.There is a forward-facing globular-ended hook.There are two rivet holes, both of which retain the iron rivets. Suspended from the hook is a copper alloy suspension loop the outer edge of which is bevelled.
Originally this object would have been one of three similar plates, which would have hung from a mount.See Read 2008, 220 No. 793 for a reconstructed example.

Post Medieval copper alloy plate, 49.9mm in length, with five rivet holes. The plate is divided into a rectangular half and a spade-shaped half which has a border of incised scrollwork decoration. There are traces of gilding. The reverse of the object is undecorated. Possibly part of a belt or harness fitting although could be a book fitting.

Copper alloy rectangular plate, 35.2mm in length and 20.5mm wide, with two copper alloy rivets. The front of the plate has incised decoration in the form of a reef or square knot, within a simple linear frame. The reverse of the plate has several incised lines but is otherwise undecorated. Probably part of a Post Medieval belt fitting or buckle.
Shows a knot type known in heraldry as the bourchier knot after the family of this name.
