A fragment of a medieval cast copper alloy single looped buckle, dating to c. AD 1250 - 1350. The fragment consists of the external edge of the frame, this originally being oval with an expanded and offset external edge, with a recession to hold a copper alloy sheet roller, which survives in situ. The attachement end of the frame is lost to an old break. Dimensions:It is 14.04mm in length (from broken end of frame to outer edge) and 24.25mm in width, and weighs 3.07g. cf. Griffiths, Philpott and Egan (2007: 90) nos. 549-553.

Two adjoining fragments originating from a buckle frame of earlier Medieval date decorated in the Romanesque style, c. 1150-1250. The fragments consist most of the thickened front edge of the frame, which slopes obliquely when viewed in profile and are truncated in old breaks at either end as well as at their original join. The rear face of the fragments demonstrates some residual white-metal coating, while projecting from the upper face of the object are three-dimensional zoomorphic mouldings in the form of winged creatures (wyverns?) with leonine faces and bifurcated tails. An incomplete copper alloy Buckle frame of Medieval date (AD 1350-1425). The object has an oval frame with an integral spacer. The frame, on the outer edge at the apex, has a small triangular integral protrusion with a notch for the pin. The upper surface of the frame is sub-D-shaped in section. Integral to the strap bar is a forked spacer. There are two arms to the spacer which taper to a blunt point, although it has a straight and parallel exterior edge. The pin and plates are missing. A Medieval copper alloy single looped buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1250-1500. The buckle consists of a D-shaped frame with a lipped protrusion expanding from the external edge. The bar is recessed and retains a copper alloy pin in situ. A separate rectangular plate is also retained in situ, with a slot to accomodate the pin and with two separate copper alloy rivets, both surviving, on the longitudinal median line. A Medieval copper alloy single looped buckle of Meols type 12, dating to c. AD 1250-1350. The frame comprises of a single oval loop with a narrowed and offset bar and an expanded exterior edge, with a constricting to hold a separate copper alloy sheet roller (now lost). Dimension: It is 20.83mm in length, 22.14mm in width and weighs 3.82g. cf. Griffiths, Philpott & Egan (2007: 90) nos. 554-558.
