A fragment of a Roman copper alloy Wroxeter type brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-200. The surviving fragment comprises of the head and upper bow. The head is D-shaped, with a straight upper edge, and a slightly concave reverse. The vestigial remains of a perforated lug project from either lateral edge, and with a slight lip on the lower and upper edges. The pin and axis bar have been lost. The fantail is triangular and a transverse collar is present at the narrower end, where it would have joined the upper bow. A fragment of Roman copper alloy brooch, probably a colchester derivative type, dating to c. AD 50-150. The surviving fragment comprises of the foot and catchplate only. The foot is sub-circular in cross section and tapers slightly into an unelaborated foot with a central longitudinal ridge running down its front. From the reverse projects an integral, sub-triangular, unperforated catchplate, with pin rest curving to the right. Dimensions: It is 36.74mm in length, 16.54mm in width (across the catchplate) and weighs 7.96g.

A Roman copper alloy brooch of probably headstud type, of 1st-2nd century date, with decorative enamel still attached to the central spine. The pin and all articulation points are now missing, and the brooch itself is covered in verdigris. This example is similar to a more complete specimen found on the database under NARC-D633ED">NARC-D633ED and also LVPL-68DC1A, though this latter example is more intricate in the cut and positioning of the enamel.
