A much abraded cast copper alloy zoomorphic terminalled strap end of later early medieval (later Anglo-Saxon) date, late 9th Century, and probably of Thomas type A. The strap end is broadly rectangular. The top edge of the rectangle appears to have been broken off at an angle of about 20 degrees. The long sides taper slightly and terminate in a blunted point. A complete copper alloy medieval buckle frame. It is trapezoidal in shape. The outer end is thicker than the others and the strap bar is narrowed and recessed. There is a transverse groove at each end of the outer end with 3 central transverse grooves. Good condition with a dark green patina.

A early medieval copper alloy pot leg fragment. resembling Butler, Green and Payne type 4a, dated c.1250-1600. The leg is rougly trilobed, the central raised strip projecting 1mm above the main shaft. There may have been a more defined foot but corrosion has reduced the relief elements significantly. The fragment is of a dark green patina. See PAS record LVPL-2C2184.

A medieval copper alloy strap end. The strap end is made from a sub-rectangular sheet of copper alloy measuring 30mm long, 8mm wide, and having a weight of 1.26g. The strap end has two v-shaped notches at the attachment end, and is decorated with a perimeter of punched dashes. The strap end has a square hole at the attachement end. The terminal is incomplete.

A fragment of a medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating from c. AD 1250-1400. Most of the D shaped frame is missimg, but there is an incomplete integral forked shaped spacer attached to the remaining fragment. It has a dark green patina.

An incomplete medieval copper strap end plate dating to the period (c. AD 1250-1400). The strap end is made from a single sheet of copper alloy that has been folded equally in two; a rounded section at the fold indicates where the plate would have fitted around the buckle frame. The plate is rectangular in plan and open-ended. Three round headed rivets are extant at the corners of the plate and these would have secured the plate to a leather or textile strap. A copper alloy Nuremburg Jetton probably of Hans Krauwinckel II , 1586-1635.The jetton has been folded down the centre and pierced towards one edge. The obverse face is on the outside but is very worn an orb is just visable and the inscription reads GOTES R [ EICH BLIBT EWICK[.
The jetton measures 20mm in diameter is 0.25 thicknes and weighes 0.83grammes.

An incomplete medieval copper alloy single loop buckle, dating from c. AD 1250-1400. The buckle frame is D shaped, and D shaped in cross section. On the outer frame a single collared knop projects from the centre. The pin bar is recessed, and has a casting spur either side on the frame. It has a dark green patina. A similar buckle can be seen in Whitehead 1996, page 21 number 85 and see PAS record BUC-D72A4B.

Copper alloy early post medieval dress hook. This consists of a circular body with an equalled armed cross, and beaded edge. Each quarter section of the cross has open work decoration. The attachment loop is rectangular with a rectangular aperture. Read Class E, type 3. the hook is complete and attached at the opposite side of the body. The hook and loop are rectangular in cross section.

Description
2018 T646: a Roman silver 'TOT' ring dating to the second or third century. The ring is of Henig type VIII and has a flat oval bezel inscribed with the letters TOT - an abbreviation of the Celtic god-name Totatis or Toutatis. The inscription is crudely done, and the 'T's resemble 'I's. The central 'O' is the same length as the flanking 'T's. To either side of the bezel is a triangular shoulder, both of which are decorated with an incised perimeter. The hoop is now squashed.

A cast lead or lead-alloy strap end of early-medieval date.
Description: The strap end is tongue-shaped with a rounded terminal and a straight edge at the attachment end. The attachment end is split to allow a strap to fit inside but the two sides are now squashed together. There are two rivet holes at the attachment end, each with a lead rivet still in-situ. The ends of the rivets have been flattened on the front of the strap end to secure them. On the back, the ends of the rivets are missing and just the two, circular rivet holes can be seen.
