COS III, S C reverse type depicting Salus, draped, standing right, feeding out of patera in left hand snake held in right hand. Mint of Rome. This is a probably coin of British Association similar to exampes published from the Sacred Springs at Bath, cf. BMC 1380; RIC II, p. 469, no. 975b; Walker, p. 293, nos. 1-52, pl. XXXIII.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy balance dating to the Early Medieval period, c. 450-650 AD. One arm and the separate pivoting clip are missing, though otherwise it is preserved intact. At the midpoint of the arms is a triangular projection which originally consisted the pivot-point of the balance. At its base is a now obscured circular aperture where the separate clip would have been attached. Part of a post-medieval copper-alloy, probably sub-rectangular shoe buckle dating to the period c.AD 1660-1720. Two adjoining sides of the frame remain, consisting of one complete end and circa three-quarters of a longer side. The side has a drilled hole through its centre to hold a separate spindle; this is now full of brown corrosion products. This spindle, along with the pin, stud chape and tongue are all lost. It is rectangular in plan and rather elongated, tapering at its base to form a rather devolved cruciform terminal. A fragment of cast gilt copper-alloy harness pendant. dating to the period c.1200-1400. Description: The fragment is irregularly shaped but was likely originally cruciform in shape with an openwork set of segments extend from the centre into the arms. A thte apex is a round suspension lug with pierced hole palced perpendicular to the pendant. Only the upper arm and part of the centre remain. A small amount of gilding remains on its upper surface but is otherwise mottled red brown and green. Measurements: 28.26mm long, 19.01mm wide, 5.47mm thick, and 2.18g in weight.

A complete post-medieval cast copper alloy harness mount with arms dating to c. AD 1801-1837. The object has a crowned royal coat of arms consisting of four quarters. In Quarters 1 and 4 (top left and bottom right) there are three lions passant, in Quarter 2 (top right) is a rampant lion, and Quarter 3 (bottom left) has a harp.
