A worn and heavily abraded sheet copper-alloy buckle plate of likely Medieval date.
Description: The plate is incomplete and would likely have been tongue-shaped with complete. The plate has three large rounded rivets remaining, which would have held it to its backplate and belt. The backplate is missing and may have been matched witht he front plate or narrower suchs as (SUR-FCCCF1). The edges and breaks of the buckle plate are heavily worn. Traces of gilding survive on the plate but otherwise it is a mottled red-brown to mid green.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy purse bar (c. 1450-c. 1550).
Description: The purse bar is incomplete, with the arms terminating in breaks. The central block is square and has a vertical hole to accommodate the shank of the suspension loop. This hole enables the suspension loop of the purse to rotate. The loop is circular in plan and is circular in cross section. The loop still rotates freely in the central block. A fragment of cast gilt copper-alloy harness pendant. dating to the period c.1200-1400.
Description: The fragment is irregularly shaped but was likely originally cruciform in shape with an openwork set of segments extend from the centre into the arms. A thte apex is a round suspension lug with pierced hole palced perpendicular to the pendant. Only the upper arm and part of the centre remain. A small amount of gilding remains on its upper surface but is otherwise mottled red brown and green.
Measurements: 28.26mm long, 19.01mm wide, 5.47mm thick, and 2.18g in weight.

A cast, incomplete Post-Medieval buckle frame dating to the period c.1570-1700.
Description: The frame is double-looped and trapezoidal in plan, concave sides. The buckles reverse is hollow although the frame is still thick. The upper surface of the buckle has cast decoration formed by raised long bars and smaller bars. The buckle is missing its' pin but is otherwise in good condition. It is dark grey-green colour where the metal is visible under the dirt
