Incomplete medieval copper alloy lozengiform mount, probably from a belt or harness, with part of an integral square-sectioned attachment spike on the reverse. The front is decorated with eighteen moulded pellets (one other is missing). A speck of white-metal coating survives on the front face. Very close to Read 2016, no. 253. Estimated length 24.5mm. Width 14.5mm. Thickness (excluding spike) 2mm. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 1078. c.1350 - c.1450.

A complete copper-alloy coin weight of the moidore series dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1760-1773). The obverse and reverse are identical, each reading 'S' above and '36' below in moulded relief within a circumerential boarder of short repeating strokes. The weight has a light green patina. It measures 24.5mm in diameter, is 4mm thick and weighs 12.6 grams. For a simiar coin weight recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database see IOW-76C9A5.

Incomplete and rather abraded Early Saxon copper alloy Small-long brooch, with much of the headplate, the lower end of the bow and the footplate missing. All breaks are ancient. Probably Leeds 1945 Trefoil-headed, although only one foil is extant. The gently hollow-backed bow begins with a curving transverse rib rather than a rectangular panel. The stumps of a double pin lug and traces of an iron pin mechanism remain on the reverse. Weight 5.00g. Extant length 30.7mm. c.475 - c.525.

Cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Polden Hill type, Mackreth 2011, Chapter 3, Part 3, CD PH 4.d., A.D 75-150. Between two vertical ridges on the upper bow is a panel of stamp impressions. The wings are separated from the bow by two raised, circular panels, the wings are semi-circular and hollow with circular plates at each end through which are holes for the axial pin. Length 55.7mm, Width 26.2mm, Height 18.6mm, Mass 14.40g.

A complete cast cooper-alloy hooked strap mount dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD. 1600-1700). The object has a sub-cordate D-shaped sectioned plate with a concave upper-edge. In the centre of the plate are two circular-sectioned iron rivets which extend through to the underside. The gradually inward tapering plate extends to a narrower rectangular strip that is bent inwards to form a D-sectioned hook with a pointed terminal that abuts the reverse of the strip.
