A complete copper-alloy lace tag or chape dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1800). The object consists of a single sheet of copper-alloy rolled into a tube which tapers from a circular open end to a point with a trefoil perforation. A seam runs the full length of the tag on one side where the plate overlaps itself. Sections of the surface are covered with a thin layer of white metal coating. The whole object has a patchy dark green and brown patina. The object measures 26mm in length and 12.5mm in diameter at the widest end. It weighs 3.1 grams.

An incomplete cast lead or lead-alloy lion headed mount, probably dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1750). The mount is sub-circular in plan and sub-oval in cross-section. The very worn upper surface depicts a lion's head surrounded by a flowing mane. Many of the lion's features are abraded but its eyes, nose and mouth are distinguishable. An incomplete cast copper-alloy vessel foot, probably from a cauldron or skillet, dating from the Medieval to Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1700). The vessel foot is roughly trapezoidal in plan and D-shaped in cross section, and is unevenly broken at the upper-end. The upper-surface of the pot foot has moulded decoration in the form of a raised horizontal rib surmounting five wide, vertically aligned, flutes, possibly representing a cat paw. A fragment of a greyware ceramic vessel dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43 - 410). The fragment consists of a section of rim and part of the vessel body wall comprised of a mid-grey coloured fabric with occasional white inclusions throughout. The texture is hard, fine and sandy. The sherd measures 36mm in length, 13mm in width, is 8mm thick and weighs 11.3 grams. 'Greyware' describes various types of locally produced pottery that were made in many different areas of Britain. They are one of the most common types of Roman pottery in the province.

A complete cast lead spindle whorl dating from the Medieval to Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1800). The spindle whorl is bi-conical in shape with a circular perforation (still filled with deposition residue) extending vertically through the centre. The exterior surface of the spindle whorl is very worn and pitted but appears to be decorated with regularly spaced vertical lines. The spindle whorl measures 14mm in length and a maximum of 20mm in diameter. The central perforation is 6mm in diameter. The spindle whorl weighs 23.35 grams.

An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the medieval period (AD 1250 - AD 1400). The buckle is single looped and sub-circular with a narrowed and offset strap bar. The outer edge of the frame is thick and recessed to house a sheet roller which is flanked by two pointed lobes. The sheet roller is incised with a series of lines. The pin is missing. The metal is light green and worn. The buckle is 19.9 mm long, 16.4 mm wide, and 6.0 mm thick. It weighs 3.4 g. Similar examples can be found on the PAS database (e.g. YORYM-68C8C1) and in Griffiths et al. (2007, p. 91, no. 549).…
