An incomplete cast zoomorphic copper-alloy clasp of Medieval date, c. AD 1350-1450, . Description: The sub-rectangular frame has the remains of the pivoting sheet end plate wrapped around the back bar. There appears to be no provision for a pin, while the undersides of the frame's side edges are recessed to accommodate the strap. The front of the frame is flat and 5.5mm in depth, with a small protrusion extending inwards from the forward pointing spike (length:5.57mm). A copper alloy slide key for a slide lock of probably late early-medieval to medieval date (900-1300). It is bent horizontally at the centre and comprises a shaft c.13mm long of rectangular cross-section, with an oval projection at one end a larger rectangular projection at the other.
