A circular lead object, probably a loomweight or spindle whorl. It is roughly circular with a central hole approx 10mm wide, flat on one side, curved on the other, Diameterapprox 26mm, thickness approx 7.2mm, weight 26g. Dated unknown but probably late medieval to post-medieval, 15-18th C.

A medieval cast lead spindle whorl. The object comprises a biconical loom weight with a central hole. within the central hole is an indentation. The whorl is heavily encrusted. Both faces are decorated with raised patterning that divides the whorl with radii between which are pellets around the circumference. Overall diameter: 30.6mm. thickness: 9.8mm, weight: 29.7 g Diameter of perforation: 8.5mm
