Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative hinged brooch of Mackreth's (2011) Type CD H dating to the period c. AD 50 - 150. The remaining portions of both wings are plain, both terminating in old breaks. They exhibit a transverse seam across the underside within which can be seen the remains of the iron axis bar. At the centre of the head is a slot for this missing pin. The bow arches back from the head, terminating in an old break. It exhibits a central ridge which peters out along the length of the bow. The lower bow, foot and catchplate are missing.

Roman copper alloy openwork key handle dating to the period c. AD 150 - 409. It comprises a cordate openwork handle with a circular aperture at the apex forming a suspension loop; a triangular projection to either side of the loop and to either side of the bottom of the cordate handle. At the top of the loop is a collared knob. At the bottom of the cordate handle is a rectangular hollow socket with moulded double collar. The corroded remains of the iron shank sit within. Similar to an example discussed by Crummy (1983, p.126, Fig. 142) and assigned a post-AD150 date.
