Possible copper alloy medieval chafing dish support, or a mount from another medieval vessel from the 13th or 14th century. The object is in the form of a man's head.He is clean shaven and is wearing a distinctive cap that rises to a point over his forehead. The back of the object is hollow and the edges appear to suggest that it has broken off a larger vessel. On the top of the head there is a worn patch. The object has a brown patina with some wear on edges of the hat and the nose.
