Treasure case 2018 T615: declared Treasure, undergoing valuation Description: A complete gold penannular ring dating to the period 1150 to 800 BC. The ring is C-shaped in plan with a gap of 2.4 mm between the flat ends and oval in cross-section. It is decorated with alternating thin stripes of a contrasting bright gold and paler silver metal. The silver has been preferentially attacked in the soil and is slightly pitted. There is some slight damage to the inner sides of the flat ends.
