A complete cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval trade weight dating to the Victorian period. The weight comprises a disc with raised tapering sides that form a circumferential lip. The interior of the disc is decorated with a series of grooved concentric circles and a stamped mark reading 'VR' surmounted by a crown just off-centre. There is another circular groove on the surface of the exterior raised circumferential lip. The underside of the weight is plain except for a small circular indentation in the centre. The weight measures 15.5mm in diameter and 3mm in height. It weighs 3.32 grams.
