A silver Roman denarius of Julia Mamaea (AD 221-235), dating to the period AD 221-235 (Reece period 11). PROVIDENTIA AVG reverse type depicting Providentia standing left holding corn ears over modius(?) and anchor? This is a contemporary copy or hybrid combining types of Julia Mamaea and probably those of Severus Alexander. Prototype of the mint of Rome. Cf. BMC VI, p. 212, no. 1002 for a similar hybrid example. It is 18.8mm in diameter and 2.1mm thick. It weighs 2.36gm.

A possibly Post Medieval silver sixpence of William III (AD 1694-1702) The object is a very smooth and worn. The coin is slightly bent into an 'S' shape to be used possibly as a love token. Both faces are very worn and are now completely illegible. Coins of William III were commonly converted into love tokens. The coin measures 19.8 mm in diameter, is 0.5mm thick and weighs 1.46 grams. grams.
