A fragment of a probable copper alloy pot leg from a Medieval cauldron or cooking pot, probably dating from the Medieval or early post-Medieval period, about AD 1200 - 1600. The fragment consists of the roughly D-shaped (in plan) foot of the leg, and the start of the upward extending leg. The base of the foot is rough and has a pronounced projection. This is probably the result of a casting flaw. The leg is too incmplete to be sure of the shape, but appears to have a convex front and to be C shaped in cross-section. There is a hint of fluting on the top of the foot. The metal is pitte…

A copper alloy unidentified object of unknown date, possibly a Roman spoon dating from AD 200 - 400, or a Post Medieval mechanical component. The object is a bar of copper alloy which is rectangular in cross section, taller than it is wide. At one end, the rod curves downwards at an angle greater than 90 degrees, and terminates in a blunt point.
