Medieval ceramic rime sherd, probably dating to c. AD 1250-1450. The fabric is hard fired with abundant fine- medium sand temper,ngular crushed shale inclusions, <3.5mm, as well as well as occasional small <1mm probable limestone. The sherd has a reduced core with variably oxidised surface varying between mid-orange to red-brown. The rim is everted with a relatively upright profile ending in a flat squared off upper edge. It is too small to estimate the original diameter and weighs 22g.

A complete and corroded Medieval circular unifaced coin-weight for a ryal (rose noble), c. 1464-c. 1471. Withers and Withers 1995: 36, 68. The weight has a raised border at the front. The front is stamped with a crown at the 12 o'clock position and a rose at the 6 o'clock position. The rear has a central pit which may indicate the use of a lathe. The surface is drab green with whitish deposits. Diameter: 18.0mm; thickness: 3.8mm. Weight: 6.07g. (93.6 grains).
