A copper alloy and iron bell of post-medieval dating, AD. 1600-1750. Cast one-piece ovoid bell with an integrally cast rectangular loop. The loop has been damaged across the top and is missing the top bar. A circumferential rib marks the meeting of the two hemispheres, the upper of which is slightly flattened. There are a pair of opposing sound holes in the upper hemisphere, on either side of the top loop. Another pair of sound holes, which are connected by a narrow slot, are placed just below the central rib on the lower hemisphere, and are situated at the opposite side of the object…
