An incomplete copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, circa AD 75-175. The brooch is intact apart from the pin, lower foot, catch-plate and head-loop, although it is very corroded. The bow head is hump-like, and slightly angular (comma shaped) in profile. The remains of the head-loop are visible as a rounded knop. The bow head is roughly circular. The bow tapers to a damaged, pointed terminal, at the reverse of which are the remains of the catch-plate. At the rear of the head of the brooch the coiled spring can be seen. A fragment of quern-stone of probably Roman date. The fragment is sub triangular in shape and it is a segment of a circular millstone, from the central perforation to the outer edge. The upper face is rough and slightly convex. Traces of a central circular hole on the millstone remains on one side of the fragment. A copper-alloy Roman vessel escutcheon, probably from a bucket or similar vessel, dating to AD 43-410. It consists of an elongated inverted sub-triangle mount, which has the long sides slightly concave. The upper edge has an upward expanded circular loop, which is set parallel to the rest of the mount. the upper part of the triangle is slightly bent forward while the loop stays parallel to the lower part of the mount.
