A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy zoomorphic knife end-cap (terminal stop) from a scale-tang knife (c. 1500-c.1600).
The cap has an elongated oval base from which projects two symmetrical, opposing animal heads, probably those of dogs. They are separated by a deep central groove.
On the underside there is a slot running from side to side filled with the corroded remains of an iron tang.
Height: 16.7mm; width: 15.6mm; thickness: 8.3mm. Weight: 6.04g.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger-ring (c. AD 300-410).
The bezel is off-set to one side of the hoop and may have been designed as such. There is a small break on the edge of the bezel.
This finger-ring has a flat, circular bezel which is decorated with a pattern of incised lines within a circular border. The decoration consists of two opposing 'chevrons' which may form an 'X' or a crude cross saltire. In three angles there is a short incised line. A fragment of ceramic building material, probably a roof tile, probably of Modern date, although the amount of Roman material in the area suggests an unusual Roman form cannot be ruled out. The fragment is irregular in plan and rectangular in section, broken and abraded on three sides with one complete, angled edge. It has a fine hard fired completely oxidised fabric. Fine linear striations on the surface may suggest a modern technique. Traces of white mortar are on either face of fragment. On one side remain traces of a rounded flange.

Cast copper alloy strap end front plate missing the back plate with bent sides in the form of a shield in plan with a lobed knop extension at the terminal end. The face plate is incised with the letters IHS with a line above that follows the form of the knopped end and oblique scrolled lines below that appear to form letters or numbers, but are too corroded to make out. Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 48mm long, 38mm wide and 13mm thick with a weight of 64.97g.
The ampulla is 'bag shaped' with a sub rectangular form and rectangular cross section. It has a flat rectangular upper section which has a sub triangular suspension loop attached at each edge. Below this the object is sub -circular in form. It is decorated on one side with a raised double armed cross. The corresponding side is covered in rows of incised chevrons.
