Dark grey flint to pale patinated flint with spotty iron stains. Largest: 80 x 53 x 16 mm. Late Neolithic or Bronze Age scraper struck on a piriform-shaped secondary flake. Cortex on 90% of the dorsal face with a single concoidal fracture on the entirety of the ventral face, exposing a rich black flint. Semi-abrupt scaled retouch at the wider distal end and to one side. Invasive direct retouch to one lateral edge of the ventral face. Circa 4000-701BC. Dimensions. Length 59mm, width 24mm.

Copper alloy small rotary key with a circular bow. The solid stem has a round section with a bead and collar at the bow end. The bit consists of perpendicular vertical and horizontal clefts, the former of which opens to the front side of the bit. The rear of the bit is solid and does not have any wards or clefts opening to it. The stem terminates beyond the bit in a narrowed projecting tip. Circa AD1250-1350. A similar key is recorded as LIN-ECBE74 on this database.

Heavily corroded Viking copper alloy loop-headed ringed pin of the Late Saxon period, the ring is missing and the shank bent. The top has been hammered and scrolled over into a loop of flat-section. The circular section pin is 111mm long (slightly bent) and is parallel sided for half of its length then tapers to a blunt point. There are some geometrical oblique lines on the back of the head, but corrosion is too extensive to determine if this is the vestiges of decoration. Copper alloy Post Medieval finger ring. Band consists of a 0.5mm thin strip and tapers from 6mm wide at the bezel to 3mm opposite on the hoop. Chevron like decoration is just visible on the bezel but corrosion precludes proper resolution of this. Possible internal cartouche for a makers mark but again this cannot be resolved.

Copper alloy fragment probably from an Early Medieval finger ring. An elongated strip of of sheet copper alloy with a central row of ring and dot decoration and slightly raised bordered sides. The strip tapers towards one end, but both ends terminate in old breaks. It is likely that this object represents the remains of a finger ring with a slightly flattened profile. Circa AD600-1100. See FAKL-C9B907 on this database for a very similar fragment.
