A copper alloy ferrule, probably from a paintbrush, 31.7mm in length, with a circular profile narrowing from 8.3mm at the open end, to 5.6mm at the tip, which is squared off with a pierced loop. The object is undecorated except for a single incised line running around the tip below the loop.

19th century Copper alloy military button, with the front partially lost. The remaining portion has an octofoil or scalloped border around the number 98. The rear of the button comprises a separate element with a shank and groove along the mid portion. Surrounding this is a legend and linear border around the edge, which on one side reads SMITH & WRIGHT with initials S W inside. The legend on the other side is almost illegible, but probably reads BIRMINGHAM on the basis of comparable examples.

Cast copper alloy double loop oval buckle, 51.6mm in length, with moulded floral decoration. The decoration consists of a trefoil moulded knop at the outer edge of each loop and at either end of the strap bar. Circa 16th / 17th century.
