A French post-medieval silver possible douzain of Henry IV of France (1589-1610). The coin is now in two pieces, in profile bent into an 'S' shape (and broken along one fold). It perhaps had a secondary use as a love token.
Carl Savage comments that the coin is too worn for a more accurate identification as both legends and the obverse are lost through wear.
