An incomplete copper alloy stirrup strap of Williams Class A, unclassified type. The mount is sub- triangular with one short straight edge (horizontal) and two long convex edges converging at the broken trilobed apex, the central aperture loop is now incomplete. The decoration is very worn and indistinct. It comprises several irregular shaped indentations, four arranged in a square with one in the centre and others scattered around the rest of the mount. On the reverse at the base of the mount is a rearward projecting flange. Above this is an extensive area of iron corrosion. There is…

An incomplete copper alloy bow brooch of Aesica type. The pin and part of the wings are missing. The short open wings concealed the missing bar for the mechanism for the pin. The axis bar would have passed through a circular aperture in the rearward lug which projects from behind the middle of the wings. There are traces of iron corrosion product on this lug and the wings, indicating an iron axis bar. The head projects forwards from the top of the wings before curving back in to join the main body of the bow. It has a ridged longitudinal crest at the top with an oval aperture through i…
