A cast lead alloy biconical steelyard weight, probably Roman c. 50 - 400 AD. The body of the weight had a rectangular iron shaft with one end terminated with a suspension loop, now mostly missing. The surface has a white sulphate coating. See - LANCUM-6270E4, NARC-962DCE, KENT-9281FE

An incomplete copper alloy Roman Colchester style dolphin brooch dating from c. AD 80-120. The 6-turn spring and axial bar remain in situ but missing the lower element of the pin. The end axial retaining plates are broken away. The bow is undecorated except for a modest crest to the head with the retaining hole for the cord intact. The ends of the cross bar have circumferential groves at each end. The surface has a mid-green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman Hod Hill brooch dating from c. AD 43-75. The brooch has an arched rectangular central plate with 2 horizontal projecting circular 'lugs'. The main bow plate has 3 pronounced vertical ribs, surmounted with a pair of horizontal ridges, with a single horizontal rib beneath. The pin lugs, pin and much of the foot are missing, a small section of the catch plate remains. Similar examples are illustrated in Mackreth (2011, Vol 2, page 97, plate 94). The surface has a dark green patina with some ferrous staining.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester-derivative - Polden Hill type c. 75-175 AD. The pin and spring are missing. The wings form a semi-cylindrical crossbar with pierced closed end caps that held the axial rod, also missing, bar a tiny fragment in one side of the holding plates. There is an integral loop at the head end of the bow that would have held the chord. The ends of the wings terminate with a 'butt' that are the end plates. A cast and worked copper alloy object, possibly a Roman stylus c. 100 - 400 AD. Broadly round in cross-section, the stem tapers from the centre to both ends. One end then broadens to a roughly shaped hexagonal knop. The knop has an abrupt shoulder edge that reduces the diameter and forms into a 'screwdriver blade' tapering end. The tip of that end is broken. At the opposite end, the central cross section taper begins to enlarge, giving it a comfortable 'pen like' hold.
