A Post medieval copper alloy jetton of uncertain type, probably related to Nuremberg Rose orb jettons dating from AD 1490 - 1720. The jetton looks to have a Rose /Orb obverse, depicting a central rose surrounded by three fleurs (and three crowns). The reverse has a possible female bust left on one face. She is not central, but is positioned towards the right of the flan. The style is similar to depictions of Queen Anne. The legends are illegible, but appear to have double annulet stops. The diameter is 21.2mm and the thickness 1.1mm. 1.2g. No close parallel could be found in Mitchiner…

A medieval copper alloy Tournai jetton dating from AD 1415 - 1497. Shield of France modern/triple stranded cross flueretty type. Minted at Tournai and similar to Mitchiner (1988:227) number 687a. The jetton is 28mm diameter, 1.8mm thick and 5.9g. Another example is recorded on the PAS database: reference SOM-913D5E

A medieval English copper alloy jetton of Edward II or Richard II, dating from AD 1344 - 1400. Mitchiner group 7a; lion type. Only about half of the jetton survives. The diameter is 21.0mm and the thickness 1.2mm. 0.9g. Compare Mitchiner 1988, page 124, number 286. Compare SUR-E8B68E, LON-F09278 and NMS-CB6790 for more complete examples, though with various reverse differences.
