A worn silver threepence of Elizabeth I, AD 1558-1603. Obverse shows a crowned bust left within an inner beaded circle. There is possibly an unclear rose behind the head. Obverse legend lies within the border between the edge of the flan and inner circle and reads [ELIZABETH] D.G. ANG. FR. E[T.HI. REGINA]. Reverse is also within an inner circle and shows a shield containing royal arms with a long cross fourchee.
