A very worn silver hammered long cross penny of Edward I, (1272-1307), Class 4a. Obverse: crowned bust facing, EDW R ANGL' DNS hYB. Reverse: long cross with three pellets in each quarter, CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR Canterbury mint. North 1023. The coin has a diameter of 18.88mm, is 0.52mm thick and weighs 0.9g.

A complete medieval copper alloy stud or tack dating from c.15th to early 16th century AD. The stud is square shield shaped, with moulded decoration. It is very worn, but seems to be decorated with a thick grooved diagonal line running from the top left down. Either side of this is lozenge shaped indentations some of which contain traces of red brown enamel. The shield is slightly bent in the top right corner. A complete copper alloy medieval single loop buckle, dating from c. AD 1350-1450. The loop widens on the outer frame, and is rounded, with a central recess for the pin to sit in. The buckle is flat on both sides, and it is rectangular in cross section. The pin bar is recessed, and squared at each end. The pin consists of a piece of copper alloy wrapped around the pin bar, and narrowing towards the point. The pin is shorter than the frame and is about half the length at 8.4mm. A complete copper alloy post medieval coin weight dating to c.AD 1760-1773. The obverse and reverse are identical stamped S with 9 below. Traders bought blanks and used their own punches to stamp the weights. This coin weight would have been part of a set to "weigh the Portuguese miodre and 'joe' series gold coins; the guinea, half and quarter guinea." Withers, P. and Withers, B.R., 1995 p52-53. The weight has a dark green black patina, and measures 17.8mm in diameter, and weighs 3.18g.

A complete copper-alloy stacking trade weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1590 - 1826. The weight is unifaced and circular in plan with slightly raised sides and incised lathe turned lines on the interior surface. The upper surface is stamped with two swords which represent the sword of St Paul; the City of London Guildhall cipher (Biggs, 1992, p.50). The bezel comprises a moulded lenticular bezel 23.5mm long and 14mm wide with a central oval recess 12.5mm long and 9.5mm wide containing traces of a degraded grey substance possibly adhesive. The band expands on either side to a maximum width of 17.8mm. On either side of the bezel is a moulded pyramidal shoulder. The loop tapers from the shoulders to a minimum width of 5mm.

An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval purse frame, dating to AD 1475-1550. It consists of a oval cross-scetioned bar, which has a rectangular lug in its centre; the lug and part of the bar are pierced with a circular hole. The upper edges of both ends have an incomplete protrusion extending upward; they are probably all that remains of original loops. The bar is slightly curved sideways. A partial fragment of a possibly Iron Age (200 BC-AD 200 based on similar examples on database) strap fitting, similar to YORYM-686B90 and FAKL-19312B though less complete. The object appears to be half of a roughly bilaterally symmetrical piece of cast metal. The overall form appears to be of a stylised foliate nature, with thicker blade like spokes supporting roughly triangular spacers with concave circles enclosing a raised dome. The back is concave and appears to have two former attachment points, though any protrusions they may have supported are now broken away.

A flint retouched flake of probable early Neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 3300 BC. The tertiary flake is formed on reddish tan flint with some white inclusions. It is sub-oval in plan and pointed oval in cross section with a single dorsal ridge. The flake is very thin, but has short, abrupt, parallel retouch on all sides. This was pressure flaked. A notch on the right side may have been an attempt at a denticulate, and the notch has also been retouched. The flake is 36.7mm long, 25.1mm wide and 4.6mm thick. 3g.
