A gold Post Medieval half-laurel of James I (AD 1603-1625). Third coinage (North 2117), initial mark: trefoil, dating to AD 1624. Mint of London. North (1991: 147). The coin had been bent in half possibly due to plough damage. Overall dimensions: 27.16mm in diameter and 4.56g in weight.
