Cast copper alloy Post Medieval double loop sub annular buckle with unrecessed tapering plate with hole for stud or rivet. The frame is oval with knops at each end of the bar. The pin is missing. Circa 1650-1720.

A post Medieval copper alloy buckle. The buckle has been completely mangled; originally in a rectangular shape, the piece has almost been bent in half. The original would have likely been rectangular with a smaller rectangle connected at the corners. central bar may have been connected but has since broken off.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1620 - 1680. The buckle is a double loop trapezoid with expanded pointed ends and lobed protrusions to either end of the strap bar. Only a fragment of the bar remains, the middle portion having been lost to worn breaks. The tip of a circular sectioned pin is retained and adhered by corrosion to one of the outer loops.
The metal has a mid-grey/green patina and is worn. The buckle is 42.2mm long, 21.8mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 5.5g.

A Medieval copper alloy "D" shaped buckle. The buckle has a thinner bar than the rest of the piece and has a small lip and groove for the pin to rest. The pin is missing from the rest of the buckle. There are no marks or decorations on the surface.
