Mesolithic flint unretouched bladelet, 32mm in length, 12mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 2.1grams. The bladelet is sub rectangular in form and cross section and has a speckled white opaque patina. It has uni-directional flaking, an abraded butt and a hinge fracture at the distal end.

Reverse: ROB/[ ]/[ ]ANT (AN ligated); Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.

The brooch is largely intact and has open semi -circular cross sectoned wings, missing a spring. Its rectangular cross sectioned bow has a raised circular 'stud' at its shoulder which is illustrated with cross hatching, possibly implying enamel in fill? Its bow is decorated with rectangular raised motifs, set in a recess containing enamel? above a stepped foot.

A complete lead spindle whorl or weight, dating from the medieval to post medieval period, 1100-1800 AD. The weight is bi-conical in cross section, and rounded square in shape, with a sub-circular pierced hole through the centre. On the face of the weight is moulded decoration, at each corner there is a circular concave projection, with raised curved lines inbetween. The lower surface is flat. It measures 27.6mm in length, 26.7mm in width, 13.1mm in thickness, and weighs 48g.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bracelet, dating to AD 250-410. It is a sub-rectangular strip of metal, which slightly tapers towards one end. The front face is decorated with a longitudinal incision-feather motif occupying most of the length of the surface; at 7.36 mm to the flared end the motif stops and it is defined by a series of three transverse incised lines, after which there is a plain panel. The front face bears traces of possible white metal coating. The back face is undecorated.

A fragment of copper alloy medieval forker spacer from a composite buckle plate, dating from c. AD 1350-1400. The fragment consists of a small part of the frame, which ends in worn breaks. The two sides of the forked spacer extend out from this, with a rounded perforation in the centre for the pin. The forks are rectangular, then narrow to triangular shapes, before ending in a point. There is no decoration on the spacer, which has a dark grey patina, covered with a light brown green corrosion.It measures 25.4mm in length, 17.5mm in width and weighs 2.47g.

A copper alloy fragment of a possible Roman brooch dating from the 1st century AD, possibly of Hod Hill type. The object is T shaped, with a rectangular section. This has a semi circular notch in the centre. This section is made up of two seperate copper alloy sheets. Projecting down from the centre of this is another rectangular section, on one side is moulded lines running down the section, it is very worn. The fragment has a mid green patina, and measures 30.3mm in length, 22.7mm in width, and weighs 6.66g.
The fragment is similar to Hattatt 2000, page 322 figure 181.
