An incomplete copper alloy buckle, dating to c. 14th century. The buckle frame is almost circular in shape, with one edge straightened for the pin bar. this is slightly recessed in the centre. The pin is missing. On the opposite curved edge there is an oval shaped projection, which has two circular perforations. From the centre of the outer edge a rounded knop projects, with two diagonal grooves crossing it. This narrows on the outer edge to a rounded projection. An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650). The pin is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is similar in size, oval in plan. The narrowed bar is sub-triangular in cross-section. This frame is corroded and light green with traces of a darker green patina and flecks of iron staining. Length: 23.9mm; width: 19.6mm; thickness: 2.2mm. Weight: 2.58g. A section of a broken buckle, probably post-medieval (AD 1550-1650) in date, based on Whitehead's (2003) assessment of types, and part of a spectable buckle based on morphology. The pin groove, in this case moderately ornamented, survives, as does a general curvature indication a twin-looped overall shape.

An incomplete copper alloy medieval double loop buckle missing the pin, dating from 1350-1400. The loops are D shaped, and sub triangular in cross section. The inside edges are bevelled. On the outer frame of both loops are three grooves, running from the outside but stopping before the inner edge. The pin bar is sub triangular in cross section. The buckle has a green patina. The buckle measures 36.0mm in length, 32.7mm in width, and weighs 5.27g. This is similar to a buckle in Egan and Pritchard 1991, 83, 332.

Fragment of a Medieval copper alloy decorative buckle frame, 17.7mm in length. The fragment comprises the front edge and one side of the frame, with a remnant of a narrowed and offset strap bar. The front edge is 5.8mm wide and has five moulded transverse grooves across it, the central one of which forms a pin rest. The side of the frame has two small lateral spurs. A fragment of copper alloy medieval forker spacer from a composite buckle plate, dating from c. AD 1350-1400. The fragment consists of a small part of the frame, which ends in worn breaks. The two sides of the forked spacer extend out from this, with a rounded perforation in the centre for the pin. The forks are rectangular, then narrow to triangular shapes, before ending in a point.
