Copper alloy post medieval mount. It is oval in plan and concave in section, pointed at one end with a small knop at the other, and looks like a stylised acorn with cup, with a raised line marking the junction. There are the stubs of two integral rivets on the reverse. The surface is green and the original upper surface is partly worn away.
