A cast copper alloy double-loop buckle with trapezoidal frame. The buckle is 35 mm long and 22 mm wide and 2.6 mm thick. The frame has trefoil outer edges and small worn knops at each end of the strap bar which is bevelled and 2.7 mm wide but flush with the frame. The inner edges of both ends of the frame are vertical and the faces are decorated with an incised transverse line. The outer edges of the frame have central pointed knops with transverse grooves as pin rests and ovoid knops at the corners. An incomplete Post-Medieval cast copper alloy plate of a double loop shoe or knee buckle, dating to AD 1660 to 1720. The chape is D-shape with the centre of the curve projecting into an elongated knop which would have a raised stud at the end, now missing. It measures 20.0 mm in length and 11.8 mm in width where holds a copper alloy strap bar in situ. The pin is now missing but it was probably made of iron, as suggest traces of iron corrosion around the bar, on both sides of the plate. The reverse is plain. An incomplete and misshapen post-Medieval copper-alloy rotary key, possibly for a casket (c. 1500-c. 1700). Most of the bow is missing and the bit is misaligned from the stem. The handle/bow would probably have been kidney-shaped when intact. All that survive of the bow are two internal projections adjacent to the stem and a tiny portion of the bow. A complete cast lead and iron mount probably of post-Medieval date. Description: The mount is circular in plan with moulded relief decoration in the form of a lion's head surrounded by its mane. The reverse is uneven with the remnants of two u-shaped iron pins or studs overlapping and embedded in it. The function of this object is unknown. The metal is a light grey colour and is worn. It is an example of Mitchiner (1988) no. 1504 with master's name around orb, small size. The jetton is very worn, and much of the legend is illegible.
