A complete and worn post-Medieval silver penny of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), minted at London. Initial marks: [long cross]/long cross, 1580-1581 (North 1991: 135, ref: 2001). Obverse: E D G ROSA SINE SPINA (A rose without thorns); Crowned bust left. Reverse: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON; Square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the inscription. Diameter: 13.6mm. Weight: 0.42g. A complete Medieval silver long cross cut farthing of Henry III (1216-1272), probably minted by Ieremie (Jeremy) at York. Class 2b-3c, 1248-1250 (North 1994: 226; refs: 985/2-988). Obverse: hEN[ ]; Crowned bust facing without sceptre. Reverse: IER/[ ]/[ ]/[ ]; Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Length: 9.1mm; width: 9.0mm. Weight: 0.33g. DA=12:7. Copper-alloy hilt guard from a dagger of post-medieval date (1550 - 1800 AD). The object has a flat, lentoid body with a central rectangular aperture and globular-ended quillions that curve to the side in opposite directions. There is a slight collar at the juncture of quillion and body. The object is brown with patches of green copper corrosion. It is 83.09mm in length, 22.76mm in width and 9.56mm at maximum thickness. It weighs 18.54g. This object bears similarities to dagger hilts recorded on the database that have been dated to the post-medieval period. See: KENT-FC97CC, NLM-45…

Post Medieval to modern copper-alloy ring, probably from either a pair of scissors or wick trimmers, or possibly a saucer-type candlestick holder. The ring is circular in form with bevelled inner and outer edges. The object is incomplete, testified by an angled rectangular protrusion on the outer edge which has an abraded, broken edge on either side. How much of the object is missing cannot be determined. The object has a rough, brown surface. Probably dates to between c1500 and c 1940 AD. It is 29.44mm in length, 25.82mm in width and 3.98mm in thickness. It weighs 6.43g.

Complete copper-alloy knobbed terret ring of Late Iron Age to Roman date (c. 100 BC - 100 AD). The terret ring is oval in shape with three globular knobs positioned equidistant across one half. The edges are bevelled, resulting in a triangular section. There is a casting seam visible running along the inner edge. The object has a green-brown patina. It is 41.98mm in length, 34.82mm in width and 3.99mm in thickness. It weighs 3.40g. There are a number of similar examples recorded on the database, including: DENO-4C0350, DUR-E57027, KENT-51A1C3 and YORYM-04F602.
