A complete copper-alloy coin weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1604 - 1619. The weight is circular and uni-faced and was for the half angel. The obverse depicts St. Michael spearing a dragon (spear to the right). St. Michael's legs are not clear. The reverse is flat and undecorated. Diameter: 13.5mm; thickness: 2.2mm. Weight: 2.25g. Due to wear and corrosion it falls below the standard weight of 35.5 grains (Withers and Withers 1995: 21 and 68). An assemblage of 13 glass bottle fragments of probable Roman date, AD 43 - 410. There are 8 rims, four neck gragments and one base. 1. The whole of the rim and neck in light blue coloured glass. Rim has an external diameter of 26.1mm and internal opening of 12.1mm. The rim is almost flat across the mouth and is square. The neck is 20.5mm diameter at the top, and 22.8mm at the start of the shoulder. Incomplete Early Saxon sleeve clasp of Hines' Form B12 dating to the period c. AD 470 - 600. It comprises three square bosses separated by two recessed and grooved collars. Projecting from each boss is a D-shaped pierced lug for attachment to the sleeve. Projecting from the other side of the central lug is a rectangular eye on to which the hook of the opposite half would have attached. See: Hines, J, 1993, p. 47, fig. 90, a. Finder's ref: Oct 17. 11.

An incomplete and worn copper alloy nail Cleaner of high shoulders (Group) of Roman date (AD 50 200). Crummy Type 2a. The blade of the cleaner is 'leaf' shaped, widening just below the shoulders then narrowing to a two-pronged tip. The upper portion of the object forms a broken, flat suspension loop in line with the plan of the body. The upper portion of the loop is missing creating a double spurred prong. A copper alloy Medieval buckle of Meols Type 4 dating from about AD 1300 - 1400. The buckle is unusually large, but leff than half survives. It is D shaped with a narrowed and offset bar (now missing) and a thick frame. The outer edge is quite straight, with a projecting triangular knop in the centre, with a cusp at each side of the knop, and five deep grooves across it. The centre one would act as the pin rest. The buckle is 38.2mm long, 25mm wide and 5.2mm thick. 6.6g. It has a grey green patina.
