An incomplete copper-alloy Roman nummus probably of Valens (AD 364-378), dating to the period c. AD 364-367 (Reece Period 19). GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the emperor advancing right, holding standard and dragging captive. Reverse legend reads: []IA RO-MA[]. Obverse depicts: a diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse legend is illegible. Mint: probably Aquelia. Mint mark: - C/[]//[]. As LRBC Vol II, page 67, no. 977
