A copper alloy Medieval harness pendant probably dating from AD 1200 - 1400. It is a crescent shape in plan, the back of the crescent forming the top of the pendant, with a suspension loop at right angles to the main body of the pendant at the apex. The front face is gilded. It is 23.3mm long, 22mm wide and 6.8mm thick. 2.6g. Compare ESS-A0B383, BH-76A4C4 and BERK-6F20A6. Though some similar harness pendants are known from the Roman period, objects of this type are usually considered to be Medieval, especially when gilded and when the tips of the crescent do not touch each other.

A copper alloy unideintified object of uncertain date, Roman to Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1700. It is a flat plate with almost all the edges broken. It is roughly D shaped in plan. The straight edge is complete in the middle, but broken at the ends,so this edge was either recessed or perhaps a hinge fitting or a slot perhaps for use as a catch. A lead Post Medieval cloth seal, probably dating from AD 1500 - 1700. It is a two disc seal, or possibly an incomplete four disc seal. The legiable face has the letters BB (the first one retrogade) with either an X or scissors between them, and a probable crown above. The seal has a well developed cream to yellow patina. The seal is 16.8mm long, 13.1mm wide and 3.6mm thick. 3.8g. No close parallel has been found, but another seal with a B and scissors on is HAMP-94BB12, and SUR-143677 has the royal cipher of William III which is a crown over R (retrograde) W R which has similarities.

A lead Post Medieval seal, probably a bale seal dating from about AD 1500 - 1800. It is a sub-circular disc of lead with slots through it sidesways where the cord would have been. One face is marked with a possible large letter C in relief. Further marks are off the edge of the flan. The other face has a short cross with a pellet in each angle all within a circle, and some larger pellets beyond that. The seal is 18.4mm diameter, 3.7mm thick and 5.3g. It has a yellow patina.

A copper alloy possible vessel mount or handle escutcheon of possible Roman date, about AD 43 - 410. The object is an incomplete mount which is sub-rectangular in plan and D shaped in cross-section. The broken end is narrower and it flares to the complete end which terminates in a circular loop which is at right angles to the plane of the body. A fragment of a Roman copper alloy hinged developed T-shaped brooch, dating to AD 75 to 150. The fragment consists of the head, the upper part of the bow and part of the pin. The brooch has completed open-ended cylindrical wings that measure 35.2 mm in width and 4.7 mm in diameter near the edge. The wings taper slightly from the centre of the head to each end and hold a copper alloy axis bar. They are decorated across the front only with two grooves at each end. The fragment is a a rim sherd formed from very dark blue translucent glass with no visible striations or bubbles. The rim is beaded and though the fragment is too small to be confident when projecting a rim diameter, it could be about 120mm. The wall of the vessel also slopes outwards at the top. The fragment is 31.1mm long, 38.9mm wide and 4.4mm thick. 9.2g.

Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle frame, dating to c.AD 1350 to 1650. The frame consists of two oval loops divided by a central bar. The loops are D-shaped and convex on the front and flat on the back. One of the loop is really worn and part of the outer edge is now missing. The strap bar is straight and sub-rectangular in cross section. It has a slight knops at one end. The bucke has no decoration. Traces of iron corrosion on the bar and both loops probably suggest an iron pin, now missing. The buckle is really worn and has a dark green patina with traces of white metal.…
