The narrow stepped panel has a crude sub-rectangular perforation; around the hole there are traces of possible soldering. The surface is dented and riddled. Fragment of a medieval to post medieval decorative flat copper alloy strap mount with separate rivet, 12.5mm in length. The fragment has three terminal lobes and two hooked side lobes, one of which is longer than the other. There are three incised lines running into the terminal lobes which are probably intended to be foliate. There is a single rivet hole with a copper alloy rivet in place. The rest of the mount has broken off.  Similar to Read (2016), p46, number 350.
