A fragment of a copper alloy Roman finger ring dating to AD 43-200. The ring cosists of the bezel and the shoulders of the ring. The bezel is oval in shape with two circular voids on either side. One of the voids is empty, in the other there is possibly the remains of an adhesive. The shoulders curve away from the bezel, and narrow into the hoop, the majority of which is now missing. The breaks in the hoop are worn. The ring has a light green patina, and is very worn. It measures 14.8mm in length, 10.1mm in width, and weighs 1.19g. The ring is similar to BUC-509662 and BUC-FE855D

An incomplete Roman cast copper alloy finger ring of Henig Type I set with a yellow/amber glass intaglio. The ring has a robust plain oval bezel that is raised unusually high above the level of the hoop on plain shoulders. The shoulders are triangular in plan and section, widening evenly from the hoop to the bezel, from c2mm to c10mm. The hoop is entirely missing due to old breaks at the point where the bezel stands away from the hoop. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman finger ring, dating to AD 100-300. Only the bezel and fragments of one shoulder survive. The bezel is octagonal in plan and it is recessed to house a stone or an enameled decoration, now missing. The shoulder has an oval shape in plan and has a shallow transverse flute on its front face; the fragment of the hoop attached to the shoulder has a sub-rectangular shape in plan and tapers towards the break.
