Copper-alloy, probably sheeting, sword belt hanger hook. Dating to the period c. AD 16th - 17th centuries. The plate is sub-triangular in shape and tapers to its widest point at the edge opposite that of the hook. There is a small protruding collar formed of two knops emanating from the edge of the plate, which separates the hook from the main body of the plate.
