Fragment of a copper-alloy, possibly pewter spoon, dating to the period c. AD 1600 - 1700. The remaining part of the spoon is the bowl, which is oval shaped and concave. The underside of the has moulded relief pattern work in the form of radiating grooved lines emanating from a single transverse groove across the surface of the underside of the bowl, closest to the stem end. An incomplete copper-alloy mount of Iron Age date, c. 500 BC - AD 100. The object is circular with an ovate section resulting in a flattened spherical appearance. A shallow and incomplete circumferential groove is present around approximately one third of the edge of the mount. The upper surface of the mount has a slightly raised integral circular panel with four pointed ovate recesses around a small central circular recess. A copper-alloy coin weight dating to the Post-Medieval period, c.AD 1604 - 1619. The weight is circular and bi-faced. The obverse is depicts a crowned .XI. with smaller letter s below (indicating shillings). The reverse depicts St Michael spearing a dragon with the legend MAG BRIT to one side. The weight was used for the angel of James I, second coinage. The metal has a dark red/brown patina and is worn. The coin weight is 17mm in diameter. 2.4mm thick and weighs 3.9g. The coin weight is slightly light compared to its official weight of 71 grains/4.1g (Withers and Withers 1995: 13).

The front of the disk is stamped with the inscription: [?]DVYTSL/COLCHESTER//15BAY75, within a circular linear border, the lower portion of which is pelleted Diameter: 42.36mm, Thickness: 1.77mm, Weight: 22.0g.
