The object is circular in plan and flat on the underside, while the upper face has been moulded with three angled planes leaving three ridges that transect the object into thirds. The object has a matt, grey patina and is uneven in thickness. It is very small, being 14.15mm in diameter. It is 6.10mm at maximum thickness and weighs 6g exactly. Roman (probably 1st century) bracelet: The copper-alloy fragment is rectangular with both narrow terminals being broken, but not recently. The fragment is now a sub V-shape in profile. The exterior has moulded decoration which is formed by a central groove with a wide, subtle ridge either side. On the outer edge of these ridges there is fine ribbing which borders the edge of the bracelet. The interior surface of the bracelet is undecorated. The stem continues from the terminal into a bulbous area defined by a collar continuing along the stem to where is narrows to accomodate the bit. The stem is hollow and sub-circular in cross section.
