A copper-alloy coin weight dating to the Post-Medieval period, c.AD 1604 - 1619. The weight is circular and bi-faced. The obverse is depicts a crowned .XI. with smaller letter s below (indicating shillings). The reverse depicts St Michael spearing a dragon with the legend MAG BRIT to one side. The weight was used for the angel of James I, second coinage. The metal has a dark red/brown patina and is worn. The coin weight is 17mm in diameter. 2.4mm thick and weighs 3.9g. The coin weight is slightly light compared to its official weight of 71 grains/4.1g (Withers and Withers 1995: 13).

A post-medieval (1720-1750 according to Whitehead 2003) silver buckle, disarticulated, of three sections. The frame is plain, undecorated and of a curved ovoid shape, having the sterling mark of a lion passant. The inner loop and catch/pin are separate, the loop being roughly worked with prominent filing marks, unsmoothed compared to both the frame and pin. This section also has a partially obliterated silver assay mark, possibly indicating a later modification or repair. The frame also bears an inscription reading 'I R', the I having a central horizontal line.

Copper alloy thimble. Pressed metal domed thimble with a narrow plain basal zone above which the wall bears finely machine stamped pits which appear as if ascending the wall in diagonal rows rising from right to left. The top is occupied by a rectilinear grid or lattice of slightly larger pits. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900. Diameter: 16.5mm, Height: 16.8mm, Thickness (wall): 0.6mm, Weight: 4.06gms

Copper alloy spoon. A small leaf-shaped concavo-convex bowl at the end of aan oval section stem which is thinnest at its midpoint, and which expands towards a flat rhomboid terminal. Traces of white metal plating appear. Severely bent and twisted, presumably by recurrent plough strike. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1850. Length (as found): 71mm, Width: 22mm, Thickness (at mid-stem): 1.8mm, Weight: 7.11gms

Lead possible spindle whorl. A cast plano-convex weight with a central moulded aperture of diameter 11.2mm on one side, though the aperture is nearly closed by a flow of lead due to miscasting, on the convex side, which is also rough in its surface texture. Shrinkage lines suggest it was cast in an open mould. Patinated. A deep nick resembling a tying notch also appears on the flat face, revealing grey metal, though this may have been emphasised or formed by damage at the time of discovery or shortly thereafter - similar marks appear inside the hole.
