A fragment of a ceramic mortaium vessel of Roman date, c.AD 100 - 400. The fabric is white to very pale yellow with a coarse sandy texture and prominent flange to the outer surface. Abundant large gritty inclusions are present. The remains of a stamp with red/orange slip can be seen to one edge of the fragment though it is too fragmentary to allow further identification. The fragment is 61.7mm long, 36.9mm wide, 16.1mm thick and weighs 30g.

An incomplete copper-alloy brooch made from an English copper-alloy jetton of 13th - 14th century date. The jetton is similar on the reverse to Mitchiner 171, an English type datable to c.1280-1343. Three sherds of Medieval ceramic vessels dating from AD 1200 - 1500. There is one rim sherd and two wall shards of what appears to be the same fabric. The fabric is dark grey throughout with a purple glaze on the outer face. The rim sherd also has a grey green glaze on the inner face. The fabric is hard, fine and has frequent well-sorted inclusions of angular grey grit and rounded black particles (iron ore?). The inclusions break the surface. The rim is only slightly everted but is thickened.

A large buckle of copper alloy, probably of 1600-1700 date but without parallel in available identification literature. The buckle is composed of a one piece cast set of double loops, the cross bar formed at their join supporting the now part-broken catch. The design can be spit into half with a semi-bilateral symmetry; each is composed of two small uneven moustache shaped sections attached at the smaller end by the cross bar and at the larger by a small integrated bar.
