Silver medieval halfgroat of Henry VI, dating to 1422 - 1430 AD. Annulet issue, Calais mint. Obverse of forward-facing crowned bust with annulets either side of neck; HENRI[C DI GRA R]EX ANGL [Z] FR. Reverse of long cross pattee withe three pellets in corners, two with annulets in centre; POSVI/DEVM/ADV[......]//VIL/LA/CAL/IE. Pierced cross with pellet centre inital mark. The coin is 20.42mm in diameter, 0.72mm in thickness and weighs 1.41g. The coin has been thickly coated in renaissance wax. Spink (2018) no. 1840
