Silver medieval halfgroat of Henry VI, dating to 1422 - 1430 AD. Annulet issue, Calais mint. Obverse of forward-facing crowned bust with annulets either side of neck; HENRI[C DI GRA R]EX ANGL [Z] FR. Reverse of long cross pattee withe three pellets in corners, two with annulets in centre; POSVI/DEVM/ADV[......]//VIL/LA/CAL/IE. Pierced cross with pellet centre inital mark. The coin is 20.42mm in diameter, 0.72mm in thickness and weighs 1.41g. The coin has been thickly coated in renaissance wax.
