Modern copper alloy button, 6mm thick and 22mm in diameter with a weight of 4.18grams. The button is circular in form and semi shperical in cross section. It is formed of two plates with the upper one containing pressed decoration - the letters CD with a crown above, for the Civil Defence Corps. The underside is stamped with H L [] M, and has the remains of a loop in its centre.

Lead alloy and glass unidentified object. A rectangular block with opposed fluted sides, and with the rounded edge of a central cylindrical housing appearing on one side only. The housing retains a suken panel of glass, whether as a dial face, front, or back of a composite item is uncertain. Extensive traces of red paint appear overall. Suggested date: Modern, 1930-1960. Length: 20.1mm, Width: 18.1mm, Thickness: 8.2mm, Weight: 9.66gms
