Early Medieval (c. AD 400 to 600) Small-Long Brooch: The cast copper alloy brooch is incomplete, only the head-plate remains which has a flat semi-circular knops on the sides and upper edges. The bow protrudes from the lower edge, and it is a 'C' shape in profile and is an oval in section. The lower edge of the bow is broken, but not recently. The reverse of the headplate has a central, perforated vertical lug, which is incomplete. The brooch has a well-developed grey-green patina. Medieval (13th to mid-14th century) copper alloy buckle: The buckle is a D-shaped frame which has a narrowed and slightly off-set frame. The frame is expanded in width towards the apex. The pin is missing. The frame is has a mid brown patina. The buckle measures 16.89mm long, 22.04mm wide, and weighs 2g.
