An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy sword-belt hanger (c. 1500, c. 1650).
The remains of the hanger comprises one of the separately manufactured mounts with an integral suspension hook and separate rivets; this would have been suspended from a horizontal bar with suspension loops and were usually designed in sets of three.

A Roman, cast copper-alloy furniture fitting.
Description: The object has a rounded top, with a circular cross-section, and has a rectangular knop with central rectangular dimple on its apex. From the rounded top the object tapers in and out again to form a 'waist', with a step between the top and the 'waist'. The foot of the fitting is encased in a thick deposit of solder and iron where it was attached.

From the rounded top the object tapers in and out again to form a 'waist', with a step between the top and the 'waist'. There is a further step between the 'waist' and the foot of the fitting which is a flat, circular base. There is a circular protrusion for attachment on the underside of the base.

Fragment of the head of a Post Medieval silver gilt dress pin, circa 16th century. The object comprises a hemispherical half portion of the pin head, 11.7mm in diameter and 5.5mm high, with a central hole for a pin shaft 4mm in diameter. The pin head is decorated with four wire filigree circles 5.6mm in diameter each of which contains a second, smaller circle 2.5mm in diameter. All these circles have breaks in their periphery on the side nearest the pin hole demonstrating manufacture from curled lengths of smooth silver wire.The shaft and other parts of the pin head are missing.

A Roman, cast copper-alloy furniture fitting.
Description: The object is circular in section with a wide base, 18mm in diameter. Above the base is a single, deep circumferential groove. The body of the mount then flares outwards and back in again where it tapers to a waist, 9mm in diameter. Above this is a further circumferential groove surrounding the flat top which has a small, circular knop protruding from the centre. There is a small dimple in the centre of this knop. There is a large amount of iron corrosion deposit over the base suggesting an iron attachment shank.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy double-looped asymmetric buckle. The frame has one d-shaped and one trapezoidal loop and is a little thickened at the ends of the integral strap bar. The d-shaped loop has a projecting lobed knop, presumably acting as a pin rest. The frame is D-shaped in section with a flat back and bevelled sides. Areas of rust at one side of the strap bar and (on the same side), in the corner of the trapezoidal loop, are probably the remains of the iron pin. The frame is bent and the surface is corroded. Rim fragment from a copper-alloy cooking vessel, of probable medieval date. The fragment is 36.8mm wide and a maximum of 28.5mm high, and is roughly trapezoidal in profile and gently curved in plan. There is a teardrop-shaped swelling at the inner face, extending to a maximum thickness of 2.8mm and to a depth of 6.0mm below the bevelled rim. The average thickness of the side wall is approximately 1.9mm. It weighs 9.4g.

A complete, cast copper-alloy, sub-triangular buckle dating to the medieval period, (AD 1250 - 1400).
Description: The buckle is sub-triangular in plan and D-shaped in section with an offset and narrowed bar. The front of the buckle is decorated with three, cast copper-alloy, dome-headed rivets, one attached to each angle of the frame. These pass through the frame and are secured by hammering them over on the back of the frame. There are some areas of gilding on the front of the frame. The cast copper-alloy pin survives. The back of the buckle is flat and undecorated.
