An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy sword-belt hanger (c. 1500, c. 1650). The remains of the hanger comprises one of the separately manufactured mounts with an integral suspension hook and separate rivets; this would have been suspended from a horizontal bar with suspension loops and were usually designed in sets of three. The sword belt mount is symmetrical in plan and flat in section with two sets of parallel knops down the edge of the mount, ending in a trefoil design. The hook is missing. A Roman, cast copper-alloy furniture fitting. Description: The object has a rounded top, with a circular cross-section, and has a rectangular knop with central rectangular dimple on its apex. From the rounded top the object tapers in and out again to form a 'waist', with a step between the top and the 'waist'. The foot of the fitting is encased in a thick deposit of solder and iron where it was attached. Measurements: Length 30.77mm: Maximum width 24.32mm: Weight 31.84g. Discussion: Similar examples recorded on the PAS database are PUBLIC-05AF0C, LIN-4534F1, LEIC-9F0007 and LEIC-4A17B7.

A Roman, cast copper-alloy furniture fitting. Description: The object is circular in section with a wide base, 18mm in diameter. Above the base is a single, deep circumferential groove. The body of the mount then flares outwards and back in again where it tapers to a waist, 9mm in diameter. Above this is a further circumferential groove surrounding the flat top which has a small, circular knop protruding from the centre. There is a small dimple in the centre of this knop.
